Keren L’ehachzakat Torah Ramat Beit Shemesh A, runs and funds Jewish learning programs. In addition, we help needy people with financial assistance and loans. All our initiatives are run carefully to maximize the positive impact we have. In the past years, we gave learning stipends to hundreds of serious Torah scholars and helped hundreds of families in dire need. On a monthly basis we run multiple programs for 200 serious Torah scholars. These scholars dedicate their life to learning, research and the continuation of Jewish traditions. We provide them with stipends for their hard work and effort. We initiate educational programs and projects through the year to maximize Jewish connection. For each Holiday we tailor an educational project. Our flagship is on Purim when we run a learning program for over 600 students! It is an incredible sight to see; reminding us that Jewish identity and observance is as strong as ever. Unfortunately, there are needy families who have no one to lean on for support. We provide them a shoulder to lean on when the going gets though. There are two programs we are especially proud of: First, every Holiday we give out tens of thousands of Shekel in food voucher to single parents. These parents stand strong all year and do their best to provide for their children a stable and functioning home. We are there for them when the holidays come around to give them a much needed boost. The second program is also around the holidays when we provide needy Torah scholars with financial help to cover the added expense of the holidays. At Keren L’ehachzakat Torah Ramat Beit Shemesh A, we are humbled and grateful for the special work we do. Everyday we make a difference in the physical and spiritual lives of people in Israel; continuing in the ways of the forefathers, by looking out for each other and connecting people with G-d.
