Founded in 2015, KeepOlim supports Olim throughout their post-Aliyah journey. Recognizing an urgent need for accessible mental health care within the English-speaking community, we created Tikva by KeepOlim. Every year, thousands of Olim face loneliness, trauma, language barriers, and financial stress. Tikva provides compassionate, culturally sensitive, and accessible emotional services across Israel, ensuring no one is left alone. Services include low-cost professional therapy, free therapy for Lone Soldiers and reservists, advocacy, and diverse spiritual care. Tikva by KeepOlim provides accessible, culturally sensitive mental health and emotional support services to English-speaking individuals in Israel and Jewish communities worldwide. Following the events of October 7, Tikva launched Israel’s only 24/7 English-language emotional support hotline, responding to thousands of crisis calls. Staffed by more than 100 volunteer mental health professionals from around the world, the Tikva Line also serves members of the Jewish Diaspora coping with the emotional impact of rising antisemitism and global crises. Tikva is equally committed to supporting the mental health professionals who care for others. In partnership with trauma specialist Dr. N. Goldwasser, Tikva co-organized the TRU Conference in Jerusalem, providing advanced trauma education and resilience training for clinicians. Building on this work, the organization offers therapeutic retreats and wellness programs designed to help therapists manage ongoing trauma exposure, grief, compassion fatigue, and burnout. Committed to ensuring that financial barriers never prevent access to care, Tikva uses charitable support to provide therapy, crisis intervention, suicide prevention services, chaplaincy care, and professional wellness initiatives. Through these programs, Tikva strengthens the emotional resilience of new immigrants (Olim), frontline professionals, and Jewish communities around the world with dignity, compassion, and hope.
