SafeHeart is a non-profit organization committed to supporting trauma survivors from the various festivals on October 7th with a holistic approach. Founded by a dedicated team of therapists and community leaders, we provide a broad spectrum of psychological services including individual therapy, group sessions, transformative retreats, and extensive family support. Our team of certified psychologists, psychiatrists, and specialized therapists offers both immediate and long-term care, reaching thousands of survivors. These services are designed to address the complexities of trauma and facilitate a sustainable healing process. We also organize group retreats and therapy sessions that help survivors share and heal in a supportive community environment. These gatherings are crucial for reintegrating survivors into everyday life and helping them navigate the challenges of post-traumatic stress. Our research with Haifa University delves into the dynamics of trauma and recovery. These studies not only advance our treatment methods but also contribute to global understanding of trauma care. SafeHeart actively lobbies for improved mental health policies, advocating for more flexible treatment options that respect survivors’ dignity. Our advocacy aims to eliminate stigmatizing labels and create policies that support long-term recovery.
