Just received a comment from a beneficiary of the Jerusalem Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals:

“We rescued two dogs — a lab mix, and a Canaani-lab mix — from the JSPCA in April 2010 and brought them back home to California. They are incredible dogs and are members of our family. The work the volunteers do at JSPCA in Atarot is incredible under arduous circumstances. Hundreds of homeless dogs need our support. I encourage everyone who cares about animals to help out these dogs (and cats) in the Holy Land.”  from – Janine Zacharia
