Zefunot Culture

The mission of the non-profit Zefunot Culture (Secrets of Culture) is to discover, encourage, and support young Israeli musicians of all backgrounds, religions and persuasions. Created in 1997, by Dr. Ilana Cohen (Musician, Musicologist and Arts Therapist) in memory of her husband Dr. Zephaniah Cohen, the organization has nurtured leading Israeli musicians and ensembles – many of whom grace today’s international stages. Their performances enhance Israel’s much-deserved reputation as a hub for excellence in classical music. A small circle of friends working tirelessly to identify and assist young Israeli artists, Zefunot Culture ?s a modest organization with minimal overheads. All members are volunteers, and scholarships are funded through personal donations, performances, and gifts given to honor or memorialize loved ones.
