Yedei-Or was established in 2017 with the aim of providing affordable weekly Body & Soul treatments to homebound patients and people with malignant diseases, who, due to their illness and other impediments, cannot afford or receive these essential treatments privately or in clinics. Our goal is to provide patients with malignant diseases with a ray of light via provision of Body & Soul treatments, to enhance their quality of life, at an affordable and symbolic cost, while they are fighting disease. The important supportive role of Body & Soul treatments, such as acupuncture, medical massage, shiatsu, reflexology, tuina, etc., alongside conventional medicine has been scientifically proven. Conventional medicine and many treatments may create various side effects and symptoms. Body & Soul treatments provide patient with a profound sense of deep relaxation and inner calm while they are fighting disease, trauma or injury. Yedei-Or’s devoted therapists attend homebound patients with malignant diseases, from all sectors of Israeli society and specifically patients who most likely cannot afford these essential treatments privately. They develop with them long-term therapeutic connections, provide them with support and enhance their quality of life, with impactful, long-term treatment. Since October 7, 2023, Yedei-Or has launched its emergency response program called Swords of Light to support the many casualties of war, both civilians who were affected by terror, people who were evacuated from their homes along the confrontation lines in the south and north of Israel as well as IDF soldiers, in military bases and assembly grounds.
