Yahalom is a special forces unit in the IDF that specialize in complex combat engineering tasks. It is most known for leading the effort to neutralize the terror tunnels at Israel’s borders. The unit routinely conducts classified operations although many of its accomplishments are well known to the public today. The Foundation goals are: To create a framework that will extend the network of our unit’s veterans. To preserve our unit’s legacy and to pass it on to the upcoming generations To safeguard the memory of our unit’s fallen soldiers and to strengthen the bond with their femilies. To assist our veterans in integration to the academy and the job market To further a civilian community that takes important part in the Israeli society
