Yad Itzhak Ben-Zvi

Yad Izhak Ben-Zvi was established by a special law of the Knesset in 1969 to commemorate Israel’s second president, Izhak Ben-Zvi. It primarily focuses on the research and dissemination of knowledge relating to Jerusalem, the Land of Israel, and the Jewish communities of the East. Yad Izhak Ben-Zvi publishes a number of books and journals devoted to these areas and also runs educational programs for the students, scholars, and the general public such as lectures, courses, educational tours, and scholarly colloquia. Yad Izhak Ben-Zvi also maintains an educational institution that includes an audio-visual model and presentations of Jerusalem during the First Temple period.
