The World Union of Jewish Students (WUJS) is the central, global, and democratically elected network for Jewish student leadership, led by students, for students. Operating as an international umbrella organization, WUJS unites and represents independent Jewish student associations across more than 50 countries worldwide . Founded in 1924 by Hersch Lauterpacht, our mission is to foster the unity of Jewish students globally and ensure their active participation in the continuity and development of the Jewish people’s religious, spiritual, cultural, and social heritage. WUJS empowers and strengthens Jewish student leadership through its national and international member organizations.We achieve this by connecting members to expand their reach, facilitating global exchanges of information, and providing comprehensive leadership and skills training. When necessary, we mobilize our members and coordinate student activism on a global scale.
