Matan – The Sadie Rennert Women’s Institute for Torah Studies was founded in 1998 and is dedicated to furthering the field of women’s Torah study. Matan offers Beit Midrash programs, an Advanced Talmud Program, a Masters Program in Bible, daily classes in Hebrew and English, a summer program, and more. In addition, Matan runs a mother-daughter Bat Mitzvah program and an allied health professionals program for Ethiopian immigrants. The latter works to advance the status of the Ethiopian community in Israel by enabling women to secure employment in the healthcare field through academic and practical training.
