University of Haifa

The University of Haifa was established in 1972 for the encouragement of learning and research and the advancement of all branches of scholarship. It provides students with an academic education of the highest quality and serves as both an important educational resource and a positive role model for the community. In addition, social priorities are reflected by the efforts from that the University invests in the spiritual and cultural absorption of Diaspora Jewry in the State of Israel and its striving to foster mutual understanding between various groups in Israeli society. The University offers B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. Degrees, six Faculties (Humanities, Social Sciences, Sciences and Science Education, Law, Social Welfare and Health Studies, and Education), and five Schools (Business Administration, Social Work, History, Public Health, and Political Sciences).
