Pelech Kiryat Ekron – The Ruth Korman girls’ school in Kiryat Ekron is based on the educational method offering girls innovative study and teaching methods. The population of girls is diverse, and we are happy to educate together girls with different backgrounds. The sensitivity to the needs of the general and the individual is reflected in the educational programs and the warm and supportive response to each and every girl. The school instills in the girls the love of the Torah, the people, the land and the love of man, while emphasizing a commitment to life according to Halacha. The school encourages tolerance and acceptance of other sectors in Israeli society while building communication channels with them. The school directs the female students to serve the country in a meaningful way, and to contribute to society even during their years of study at the school. In the Pelech, the Beit Midrash programs are unique, encouraging study in fellowships, patrol groups, and groups for study for its own sake. There is a meaningful dialogue with the educational staff on the subjects of religion, faith and state, sacred and secular, and the sanctity of man. The Torah study is extensive and includes studies of the Bible, Mishna Agada and Talmud, Halacha and thought and the basics of religious Zionism. There is a vigorous social activity – Shabbats, tours, study days, talks, and more.
