The Fund for the Development of Afula Medical Center The Fund for the Development of Afula Medical Center, Friends of Emek Medical Center (EMC) in Afula, works to advance medical services to the region?s diverse population of over half a million residents. The association assists the hospital in improving the overall welfare of its patients and staff. The association partners with the hospital in project financing, construction and development, purchase of advanced medical equipment, and reaching out to the community. In addition, it hosts periodic events and lectures open to the public. This cooperative association strengthens ties with the Central Galilee communities to create a healthier region.
