Technoda, located in the heart of the distressed neighborhood of Givat Olga, Hadera was established in 1986 to provide afterschool education in science and technology for the local children. High quality programming quickly drew hundreds, then thousands of children from other parts of Hadera and later the entire central region of Israel and beyond. The only science center between Tel Aviv and Haifa, Technoda today hosts over 300,000 visits annually of children and youth from every background, ethnic group, religion and lifestyle in Israel. The state of the art new campus, with sophisticated laboratories, stellar observatory, planetarium, medial simulation unit, auditorium library and the new Science park and exhibit hall, also serves as a regional center for educating gifted children and training science teachers. Our talented and dedicated instructors introduce and catalyze Technoda participants to the worlds of chemistry, biology, physics, medicine, electronics, robotics, astronomy, computers, mathematics and much more.
