Our vision and goals: Tech-Career was founded in 2002 by Asher Elias in order to change the status-quo in Israeli high-tech and increase employment within the Ethiopian community. Tech-Career aims to contribute to long-term change and a diverse Israeli society based on equal opportunity: young, motivated Ethiopian Israelis will break the poverty cycle by gaining training and employment in high-tech, thereby serving as role models for their community, helping to shatter existing stereotypes in the Israeli society. Tech-Career wishes to empower young Ethiopian Israeli adults to fully participate in and contribute to Israeli society. Crucial factors in achieving this goal are the development of community leadership and economic empowerment. The successful empowerment of individuals from the largely marginalized Ethiopian Israeli community will positively affect the community. We are an acknowledged Microsoft IT Academy
