The organization was founded in 2016 and operates on a non-profit basis solely out of sincere and genuine concern for the well-being of the students. This organization was founded to help students; boys, young men,and grooms who are experiencing financial, mental,or physical distress. The organization provides for the students financially, and medically regarding basic needs – from clothing to dental treatment to the doctors bill to basic pocket money for the week. It even provides for the grooms for the basic expenses of their weddings. It takes care of all their needs throughout the year. It provides mentally – for therapy and physiology for any trauma they have encountered or problems they are going through. Many families that lack basic needs can be going through many difficulties and stress, even abuse god forbid due to these circumstances the students are needed to be cared for. Not every time a guy turns to mental help is it proof of instability. In most cases the counseling and guidance is designed to prevent negative development down the road. For some it’s basic dignity that they lack. For others self confidence, and etc. The way we find out that students need help is through fellow students who come and tell us about the distress of their friends and as soon as we hear we find a way to help. Our goal is to help all those who are in need so that they can continue to strive and succeed in studying the Torah and all that they desire to accomplish without any external worries or bothers at all. The organization is run with discretion as much as possible, but of course all its considerations and leadership are reviewed by the rabbis of the TAT. During the pandemic the whole world went through a period of confinement in their home, huge struggles, and hardships that we couldn’t ever fathom in our lives and so on. For these students it is their daily reality. Friends, study partners, the ones sitting in the chair next to you, they experience loneliness, and difficulties, distresses because of their situations every single day and night at home, whether it’s economically, medically, or mentally and they need our help!
