Tamkeen is a nonprofit organization committed to advancing the socioeconomic development of Arab society in Israel through strategic planning, investment, and partnership. At the heart of our mission is a core belief: lasting change must be driven by the community itself. We begin by conducting rigorous mapping to identify systemic barriers and untapped opportunities in sectors such as housing, health, access to capital, employment, education and agriculture. Guided by these insights, we design high-impact projects based on sustainable economic models that respond directly to community needs projects that are owned, led, and implemented in partnership with the civil society, government and the private sector, using blended financing and performance-driven implementation By aligning vision with execution, and leadership with accountability, Tamkeen is helping to build a more inclusive Israeli economy one where Arab citizens are equal participants in shaping shared prosperity.
