Talpiot is an organization whose mission is to reduce the number of at-risk children and youth in the region of Hadera and prevent risk situations in the family. Talpiot provides a comprehensive spectrum of community-oriented programs for the at-risk children and youth population and their families living in the region. One of these programs is the Talpiot Children’s Village, which provides children (5-16) and their families with several residential and non-residential therapeutic services. This includes therapeutic residential family units, a regional after school day care program, a junior high school, academic assistance, at-risk family treatment, music therapy and enrichment, and a program to help unemployed mothers of Talpiot at-risk children develop work skills.
