Keren Zricha (Sunrise Foundation) is a strategic platform cultivating a new generation of courageous, responsible, and professional Haredi leadership committed to community values and civic partnership. Founded to meet the urgent need for internal leadership within Israel’s growing Haredi society, the Foundation bridges two critical gaps: the lack of infrastructure for sustained professional action within Haredi society, and the difficulty of state and civil institutions to engage productively with its emerging leadership. The foundation operates through three interconnected units that build upon one another: (1) Research and Strategic Analysis – producing credible, nuanced knowledge that reveals the complexity and diversity of Haredi society, its challenges, and its evolving relationship with Israeli public life. (2) Leadership and Networking – translating this knowledge into tailored training programs that enable emerging Haredi leaders to interpret social realities, engage in reflective dialogue, and develop civic and strategic tools grounded in evidence rather than assumptions. (3) Implementation and Public Impact – applying these insights and leadership capacities to real-world initiatives and policy collaborations that strengthen civic participation and shared responsibility. Together, these three layers create a continuous cycle in which knowledge shapes leadership, leadership shapes action, and action feeds back into deeper understanding advancing a confident, values-based integration of Haredi society within Israel’s democratic fabric.
