The Friends of the Edith Wolfson Medical Center is a voluntary association formed for the purpose of raising funds in Israel and abroad for the Edith Wolfson Medical Center in order to advance medical services, facilities, research, improvement of the hospitalization of patients, and the purchase of advanced, sophisticated equipment. The Association also has financed professional studies of doctors and nurses in Israel and abroad. The Edith Wolfson Medical Center itself was established in 1980 and serves the people of Holon and the surrounding area. It also publishes academic articles regularly in local and foreign journals.
