The Shoresh Institution is an independent, non-partisan policy research center, whose sole raison d’être is its focus on the source, and long-term implications of Israel’s internal, existential, long-term socioeconomic challenges. Shoresh conducts impartial, evidence-based analyses of Israel’s economy and civil society. Its mission is to assist in moving the country towards a sustainable long-term trajectory that raises Israel’s living standards while reducing disparity among its citizens. To further this goal, the Shoresh Institution informs Israel’s leading policymakers and the general public. To maintain its independence, Shoresh accepts no funding from the Israeli government or any other government and relies on the support of individuals and foundations committed to securing Israel’s long-term future.
