The S’dot Negev Community Center was founded in 2019 to serve the area residents of the Western Negev. It provides programming for infants, children, teens and adults of all ages. The Center serves as a vibrant resource for culture, with a library, activities in sports, music, and science advancing computer programming, robotics, astronomy and more. It operates after school activities, a Resilience Center, a Summer Camp, and a wide variety of social, cultural, and religious programs. The S’dot Negev Community Center in a member of the government’s Association of Community Centers, supported by the Ministry of Education and Culture. The Resiliency Center is staffed by therapists trained in different techniques to deal with trauma and post-trauma, after the murderous invasion of the area on October 7, 2023. The Center’s focus is on Family Resilience to bring about a much needed healing for its adults, teens, and children.
