The Rifman Institute was founded in partnership between Bedouins and Jews, residents, and supporters of the Negev, with the aim of advancing Bedouin society and the Negev as a whole, in memory of the late Shmulik Rifman. The institute operates as a facilitator through its project arm, initiating numerous social and economic initiatives. Furthermore, the institute believes that significant and meaningful change requires challenging the policies of decision-makers in major bodies and local and national government institutions. Therefore, the institute works to provide ideas and solutions that benefit the Bedouin population, remove barriers, and contribute to the development of the Negev for the well-being of all its residents.
