QueenB is a bilingual (Hebrew and Arabic) educational technology nonprofit dedicated to closing gender gaps in Israel’s high-tech sector by equipping girls and young women with the skills, confidence, and networks needed to succeed in technology careers. Through after-school coding programs, leadership development, mentorship, and career readiness initiatives, QueenB serves girls ages 13-18 across Israel, with a special focus on underrepresented communities, including Haredi, Ethiopian-Israeli, Mizrahi, Arab, Bedouin, and geographically peripheral populations. Programs are led by female university students studying computer science and engineering, who receive scholarships, professional training, and mentorship, creating a powerful cycle of women supporting the next generation of women in tech. As participants approach key educational milestones, QueenB provides guidance on high school technology tracks, military and national service opportunities, higher education, and careers in technology, ensuring that early exposure to coding becomes a long-term pathway to economic opportunity. Beyond its youth programs, QueenB supports one of Israel’s largest communities of women in technology, connecting more than 7,000 students and early-career professionals through mentorship, networking, and career development. By expanding access to technology education and creating pathways into the innovation economy, QueenB is building a more diverse and inclusive high-tech sector while empowering the next generation of women leaders.
