Makom Leshira (Poetry Place) promotes, initiates, and teaches poetry and literature, and works to make poetry and literature more accessible to the Israeli public, particularly in Jerusalem. The organization produces and runs artistic and literary activities, including book publishing, and seeks to establish a home, both Israeli and international, for poetry and the literary arts, fostering ties with artists, poets, translators, and cultural and literary figures worldwide
