The Pardes Institute in Jerusalem is a unique learning environment that immerses English-speaking Jews of all backgrounds, ages (especially those in their 20s and 30s), and previous experience in an open, rigorous and challenging environment where they can study Jewish texts, get closer to their Jewish heritage, and connect to their Jewish identity. Pardes’ main focus is a one-year program built around full-time, intensive Jewish text study for one academic year. Class offerings include Midrash, Jewish Law, Rabbinics, Women and Jewish Law, Hassidic Thought, and Jewish Thought. Pardes’ also provides a program for its graduates, a program that trains students to become Jewish day school teachers, international programs, and programs in the summer.
