OneDay is an Israeli non-profit that is revolutionizing the way we volunteer. Open to all young adults who are interested in doing good and making new friends along the way. Organizational Mission 1. To repair the world (Tikkun Olam) using a wide range of volunteer channels and community service projects that are suitable for everyone in Israel. 2. Maximize Israel’s volunteering potential by creating meaningful community service work with a lasting impact both on the volunteer and the recipient of the aid that the volunteers provide. 3. Connect and create meaningful collaborations between all the sectors in Israel and the Jewish world while participating together in group community service projects. OneDay Tikkun Olam is a unique non-profit organization which encourages young adults to volunteer in community activities tailored and adjusted to the way they live. Every year we organize hundreds of volunteering projects that are open to the public. Our community service projects support elderly and holocaust survivors, people with special needs, at-risk youth, sexually assaulted women, families in need, animals, etc.. We partner with hundreds of nonprofit and government offices to help those in need. At OneDay, we also believe in connecting different parts of society in Israel through joint volunteer activities and aim to raise the volunteer rate among young adults in Israel.OneDay aims to build bridges between young adults from all backgrounds using our unique volunteering model. Every year we organize hundreds of volunteering activities for diverse groups (Jewish-Arabs, secular-orthodox, etc) in different subjects. That’s how we create informal and hands-on meetings between tens of thousands of young adults who volunteer together for mutual causes.
