AJEEC-NISPED

AJEEC-NISPED, originally known as The Negev Institute for Strategies of Peace and Development (NISPED) was established in 1998 for the purpose of promoting peace and sustainable human development, focusing on the central role of the civil society. It serves as a center for education, training and project development for societies in transition. Its three major divisions include AJEEC which focuses on the Arab citizens of Israel and Jewish-Arab relations, NISPED Middle East which focuses on conflict resolution, economic empowerment, and education for peace in the Middle East, and NISPED Cooperative Development which focuses on sustainable human development, economic empowerment, and the promotion and development of cooperatives in Israel and developing countries.
