Food Distribution – As noted above we supply food packages before major holidays and also on a weekly basis for Shabbat. The budget here will cover the purchase of the food and its packaging and distribution expenses. Free Warehouse – We would like to rent a large facility wherein we could put on display a wide variety of free items for low socioeconomic families. Such items would include Materna, diapers, household and kitchen supplies, small appliances, and other basic domestic products. The budget will cover the purchase of the products and rental fees for the space. Assistance to the Sick This is also a new initiative wherein we would like to give support and encouragement to families who are dealing with a sick child or a parent who cannot work due to the illness. The budget here will cover direct financial aid to those temporarily unable to work, small gifts to hospitalized children, supplies and equipment needed post- hospitalization, and transportation expenses for volunteers/sherut leumi girls visiting the sick at home or in the hospital.
