Over the past 12 years, the MAOZ organization has been working to build and mobilize a national leadership Network of senior, influential, and diverse leaders who work in the fields of health, education, employment, local authorities and the media in Israel. The members of our Network work in government offices, local authorities, businesses, companies and third-sector organizations. Among them are CEOs, mayors, government directors, and heads of public and private institutions. They are pivotal decision-makers, representing all social and geographical populations, closely reflecting the wider Israeli civilian make-up. Today, the Network includes 1,028 leaders who work together with deep trust to promote social and economic resilience around the country. To join the Network, the fellows go through a rigorous admission process (acceptance rate 1:15), following which they complete a well-regarded training, often described as “transformative”. During the one-year training, leaders gain a deeper understanding of Israeli society’s complexities, strengthen their personal leadership capabilities, explore the concept of trust-building and practice tools to address complex and systemic challenges.
