MASH Dance House is a leading international center for contemporary dance, dedicated to developing Jerusalem’s dance culture and advancing it on the international stage. Alongside its position at the forefront of contemporary dance in Israel, MASH is deeply committed to strengthening and engaging the diverse communities in which it operates throughout Jerusalem. The center also leads innovative projects at the intersection of technology and the performing arts, developing new ways to make artistic experiences accessible to a wide range of audiences. MASH presents approximately 80 performances each year, alongside special programs and projects designed for diverse communities, including youth at risk, children on the autism spectrum, and other populations. Its flagship events include the MASH Dance Festival, presenting original contemporary dance works, and Jerusalem International Dance Week, which brings dozens of international cultural leaders and artists from around the world to Jerusalem and includes an International Choreography Competition organized in collaboration with Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. International activity is a central pillar of MASH’s work. Throughout the year, the center develops international performance exchanges and artist residency programs, while actively promoting Israeli artists and creating opportunities for them to present their work on international platforms. MASH Dance House is based at HaParsa – Center for Performing Arts in Jerusalem’s Talpiot neighborhood, where it operates two performance halls serving Jerusalem audiences. MASH Dance House is officially recognized by Israel’s Ministry of Culture as a contemporary dance center in Jerusalem.
