Ma Yafu Paamei Bat Zion is a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening the social fabric of Yaffo through education, community empowerment, and Jewish identity. Established in 2007, the organization works with thousands of residents each year, addressing the needs of youth, young adults, families in distress, and underserved populations across the city. At the core of its work stands the Shirat Moshe Hesder Yeshiva, combining advanced Torah learning with meaningful IDF service. Alongside it, the organization operates the Shiluv Seminary for National Service volunteers and the Yaffo Pre-Military Academy, guiding at-risk youth toward leadership and successful integration into society and the army. Together, these programs shape the next generation of committed, value-driven young adults. Beyond its educational institutions, Ma Yafu Pa’amei Bat Zion leads a wide network of citywide social initiatives: student villages that volunteer weekly in the community; supportive programs for children and the elderly; services for families facing hardship; empowerment for the Ethiopian-Israeli community; and a cultural framework for local artists. These initiatives ensure constant engagement and lasting connection between volunteers and the residents of Yaffo. Through a holistic model that blends values, responsibility, and service, Ma Yafu Pa’amei Bat Zion has become a transformative force in Yaffo helping build a strong, hopeful, and resilient future for the city and its people.
