Israeli society is a mosaic of groups, sectors and identities. Over the years, institutional social, cultural and economic processes have pushed these communities to live apart, educate their children separately, and to develop distinct cultures that rely on sectoral media sources for information. As a result, Israeli society struggles to create bonds between these groups, the kind that can bring them together but still allow each to maintain its unique identity. A society incapable of Living Together is inevitably weakened and will ultimately fail at the practical task of thriving together. Moreover, it will never be able to take advantage of the benefits and cultural assets that a diverse society can offer. A Practical Problem requires a Practical Solution. Living Together is successfully advancing a shared-life agenda by continuously developing our knowledge-management capabilities and blending this with a practical, hands-on approach of applied solutions. We strive to influence attitudes and policies, as well as genuinely connect with real people on the ground who face actual challenges.
