Who We Are The Jerusalem Rape Crisis Center (JRCC) is a leading organization providing trauma-informed support to survivors of sexual violence across Jerusalem’s diverse communities. Each year, we respond to approximately 10,000 calls and requests for support via our 24/7 hotline, and chat services, reach over 4,000 teenagers through educational workshops, and train more than 1,000 professionals including police officers, educators, therapists, and social workers. With more than four decades of experience, the JRCC is recognized as a leader in addressing sexual trauma. Our team brings deep expertise in supporting survivors of complex PTSD and in training others to do the same with professionalism and empathy. Core Programs 24/7 Crisis Hotline & Online Support: (Hebrew & Arabic): Immediate emotional support, information, and referral services for survivors and their families. Individual and Group Support: In-person emotional care and therapeutic groups for survivors, as well as for family members. Accompaniment Through Medical and Legal Processes: Trained volunteers accompany survivors to hospitals, police, and court to reduce re-traumatization and promote access to justice. Education and Prevention: Workshops for youth, educators, and workplaces across West and East Jerusalem to raise awareness and prevent sexual violence. Professional Training: Training law enforcement, health professionals, educators, and welfare staff on sexual trauma and survivor-sensitive response.
