Founded in 1988, Light to the World with a goal of providing free medical equipment to handicapped, high-risk, and developmentally delayed children, regardless of their background. It has grown since, now loaning out medical equipment for free upon request to many populations including men, women, senior citizens, youngsters, and babies. In addition, its branches are located in many towns with Ethiopian and Russian immigrants (many of whom are elderly) who benefit greatly from this service.
