Kol Israel Haverim (Alliance Israelite Universelle) is a leading educational organization in Israel established in France in 1860. Today in Israel, KIAH promotes educational excellence and local leadership in the periphery, cultivates a unifying Israeli Judaism, creates connections to Sephardic Jewish traditions and fosters ties to French Jewry. In the current state of emergency, the needs of the periphery communities are only increasing. Alliance: Kol Israel Haverim works to promote fairness, equal opportunity, and social mobility for those in the periphery, so that no one is left behind; to protect and empower a sense of togetherness that was created in Israeli society in the shadow of the existential threat of war; to inspire unity without uniformity, toward the continuation and prosperity of the State of Israel, and building a better future for our children. Kol Israel Haverim initiates intervention and empowerment programs for schools and communities and trains cadres of educators and local leaders to achieve sustainable educational and social change. KIAH Holds a unique philosophy that sees inherent connections between educational achievements and identity processes. Kol Israel Haverim also develops unique content and educational materials. This work is helping to return the spiritual assets, and the Jewish culture and history of communities in Asia, North Africa, and the Balkans that have been previously lost to history to the Jewish People, ensuring that this rich heritage is equally valued in Jewish society.
