Keren Shemesh – the Beit Shemesh Foundation helps the city of Beit Shemesh develop opportunities, primarily educational, for children. For elementary and secondary schoolchildren, it has provided scholarships that led to the purchase of school supplies, a hot meal, and participation in extra-curricular activities and a summer camp. Other initiatives have included a summer school for high school students, installing computer schools, scholarships for music education, a community music program, a community exchange program, a cycling and sport program, building a playground, distributing Passover baskets to needy families, and more.
