Kehilat Kol Haneshama is an active & lively center for Progressive Judaism and serves as a focal point for Jewish pluralism and social action in the neighborhood (Baka) and the surrounding area. Kol Haneshama holds regular Shabbat and holiday services and workshops on a range of topics. It also runs an early childhood (2-4) program, a youth center that hosts many educational, cultural, religious, interfaith, and entertainment events, and a Bar/Bat Mitzvah program. In addition, Kol Haneshama reaches out to the community by helping underprivileged children from the neighborhood learn English, distributing monthly food vouchers, assisting families in times of illness or need, and managing a 24-hour support hotline.
