JDRF Israel was founded in 1983 by a group of parents whose children were diagnosed with type 1 Diabetes, in order to finance the best treatment possible for their children. JDRF Israel prior goal is to advance and encourage research, in order to find a cure for T1D. In addition, JDRF Israel runs many programs aiming to support Type 1 community, such as mentoring programs for newly diagnosed diabetics, medical summer camps, a hotline service, professional conferences throughout the year, advocacy activities ext.
