The Jewish Legal Heritage Society (JLHS) aims to promote the understanding of the ideals, ethics, and values of Jewish law and its contribution to modern society. JLHS’s activities include organizing seminars in which Jewish legal sources are studied and by running educational workshops in high school throughout Israel. In addition, the Society undertakes research and publication of books on Jewish law. As a result of these studies, the Knesset has adopted principles of Jewish law into its legislation and the Israeli courts have based numerous decisions on Jewish sources.
