Jerusalem Venture Partners Community consists of two tracks: Bakehila’s educational work in the weakened neighbors in Jerusalem and The Lab – the Jerusalem center for performing arts. Bakehila’s educational, in-school project consists of small group tutoring and intensive learning marathons. There are also After-School Learning & Enrichment Centers that provide a hot meal, educational assistance, and social activities, several projects to help parents become more active in the children’s education, and projects geared to at-risk youths. The Lab operates a center for performing arts, acting as a home to Jerusalem artists. In addition, it sponsors hosted productions and in-house productions with local Jerusalem artists, thereby acting as an artistic incubator.
