For more than 50 years, the Jerusalem Foundation, in cooperation with friends around the world, has invested more than a billion dollars and changed the face of modern Jerusalem. Through over 4,000 initiatives, both capital projects and long-running programs, the Foundation has touched the lives of all of Jerusalem’s 860,000 residents, in all spheres of life and in all the city’s communities. Looking to the future, the Jerusalem Foundation has developed a plan for 2030. Jerusalem is a microcosm of the State of Israel and we seek to ensure that the city will be strong in its diversity and resilient in its strength. Through our initiatives and projects for shared living, opportunities for all population groups in the city, creativity, culture and leadership, we are ensuring a better future for Jerusalem. Join us in building Jerusalem as an ancient city known for its youthful creativity, innovation, inclusiveness and pluralism; an open city known as the civil society capital of Israel and the Jewish people; an economically viable and livable city for young families, rich in both culture and human capital; an inspiring city that arouses a new generation of young leaders to embrace its essence and commit to our future.
