The Israel Trauma Coalition for Response and Preparedness (ITC) was founded in 2002, in the wake of the horrific events of 9/11, as an initiative of the UJA-Federation of New York. Today ITC is a cornerstone of Israel’s national trauma care, providing leadership, direction, and resources before, during and after crisis. ITC develops training programs regarding response and treatment for new immigrants, the elderly, children, disabled, veterans, Israeli-Arabs, and others, trains and supports professionals, operates resilience centers, helps to shape policy, and advocates to national and international bodies. In addition, its team of clinical service providers identifies service gaps and provides practical solutions.
