The Israel Multiple Sclerosis Society offers a number of services to people with multiple sclerosis and their families. The Society runs 20 support groups throughout the country for patients and family members with the help from professional psychologists and social workers. The society also provides training to patients to be able to provide counseling to other patients. In addition, the Society manages a hotline, society library, and a summer camp and provide community social workers that offer information and counseling in Hebrew and Russian, excursions and vacations, legal advice, individual financial assistance (for air-conditioning, distress buttons, dental care, wheelchairs, etc.), seminars and conferences, and a book listing the rights of Multiple Sclerosis patients.
