The Israel Children’s Museum (ICM) was founded in 2001 and is devoted to advancing children’s emotional development. It provides children and their families with entertainment, education, and support. It offers interactive and educational experiences for children, integrating imagination with spirit of self-discovery. In addition, children play active roles in the stories that are told as part of the museum tour. The ICM’s objective is to make children aware of their feelings, to develop their ability to express and control these feelings, and to introduce them to the concept of relationships with others by giving them tools for conducting open and honest dialogue with their peers.
