The Ilai Fund works towards the benefit of children with special needs. These are children who suffer from physical, emotional, and mental disabilities, who have been afflicted with various syndromes, and who are orphans and have been wounded in accidents, wars, or acts of terrorism. This fund provides families with financial aid to help their children (mostly of single parents and occasionally orphans) receive the proper care that is necessary. The Ilai Fund also provides children with a wide range of items from wheelchairs and orthopedic shoes to special nutrition and specialized computers and offers physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, and psychotherapy. In addition, the fund gives homes, with children that have been removed from their original ones by court order, clothes, books, toys, and more. It also arranges celebrations and trips for these children.
