The Holon Institute of Technology was founded in 1969, and 55 years since its establishment, has become a premiere institution of higher education specializing in Design, Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. The Institute grants bachelor’s and master’s degrees through its 8 faculties and 20 academic programs. In 2025, over 6,000 students are earning their undergraduate and graduate degrees on its compact but central campus just 11 kilometers from Tel Aviv. HIT’s student body reflects both its central geographic location in the City of Holon, and the social and economic peripheries of Israel.
