Hatzalah Yehuda & Shomron Without Borderst are he first response medics in Israel and around the world. We were founded in 2000 at the height of the 2nd intifada (Arab uprising) and official Emergency First Response services in Israel (“MDA ) would not go into Judea and Samaria, where many attacks occurred. The security officers in Judea and Samaria decided to learn emergency first aid, and Hatzalah Yehuda & Shomron Without Borders was formed. Today we have over 1,600 medics. Outside of Israel there are teams in 14 countries. We work in full coordination with MDA, the IDF, and Airborne Rescue. Our volunteers have medic bags with them at all times, and live in Judea and Sameria. They don’t need to wait for an ambulance to arrive when something happens….they are alerted by our phone app, and whoever is closest runs to the scene, and attends immediately. We are always first. Hundreds of lives have been saved this way. More medics are being trained all the time. Our funds, all private donations, go towards equipment and training. (ambulances, medic kits, etc.)
