Galila – the Northern Galilee Development Foundation was founded in 2005 and supports the needs of the borderline communities who live in a security-threatened region with complex developmental challenges. Galila reaches out to all populations in the northern Galilee and carefully researches and selects to help with areas that are priorities and in most need. The Foundations provides projects that help at-risk children and youths (e.g. after-school childcare centers), youth clubs, children’s playgrounds, a Senior Citizens Day Facility, assistance to senior citizens, holocaust survivors, and victims of sexual assault, and grants to families and individuals in moments of crisis and distress.
