The “Galgaley Hachayim” Association was founded in 2017 in memory of Avraham Fisheimer. Our mission is to support people with disabilities in all aspects of life, with a special focus on accessible travel in Israel and around the world. We organize inclusive holiday celebrations such as Passover, Rosh Hashanah, Independence Day, and Lag BaOmer, together with individuals who would otherwise be alone without the support of the association. Thanks to our extensive experience working with individuals with severe disabilities, we have now taken a significant step: We are organizing a fully accessible and rehabilitative trip to Switzerland for the most severely wounded IDF veterans from the recent “Iron Swords” war, each accompanied by a personal caregiver at no cost to them. Until now, our activities have been funded mainly through contributions from friends and family. But in light of our commitment to care for IDF wounded soldiers, we are now launching a public fundraising campaign and are reaching out to potential donors for help in this meaningful mission.
